The 2016 Sacred Selections Memphis family is the Caster family. Trey and Allison are parents to three beautiful children – Tessa is 5, Crew is 3, and Holly is 1. The whole family is excited to add a new baby to the family.
Trey and Allison met at the Florida College camp in Arkansas 11 years ago and became good friends before they started dating. Trey is a mechanical engineer and Allison uses her early childhood education degree everyday in teaching her children. They are active in their local congregation where Trey serves as a deacon and Allison teaches children’s Bible classes.
This painting (along with another) was created & donated by 11 year old Allysa Williams of Louisville, KY to Sacred Selections. Allysa lost her mother at age 4 and in the last 3 years has found refuge in painting. At the Louisville fundraiser a phone bidder bought both and then asked they move on to the next fundraiser to be sold again! At the Nashville event, both paintings were purchased during the live auction and the winning bidder donated one of the paintings back to Sacred Selections to be resold for a third time!!
So now it’s our turn. Will Alyssa’s painting find a permanent home or will the chain of love continue with it being donated to another auction after its purchase in Memphis? Join us Saturday night and find out!
“Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widow in their distress…”
The Christian religion is based on two great commandments: Love the Lord with all the heart, soul, strength, and mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Jesus taught in conjunction with this the credited ‘Golden rule’: Do to others what you would want done to you. And so – if the Christian truly wants to be adopted into the family of God as per Galatians 4, then they will indeed not spurn the opportunity to provide for others, especially orphans in need of a father and mother. We all serve in different ways. With some it is financial benevolence; with some it is skills of management; with others it is encouragement. Search your own heart and skill set in order to apply James’ great exhortation to help the child in distress. (Borrowed from Jeremy Dehut, SS Birmingham)
2015 is another great year for Sacred Selections Bartlett! With the help of many, many folks we have raised enough money to help TWO families with their adoption fees! Our final number, including the 1213 matching grant, is $28,000! … Continue reading →
Just checked our stats and we have 1,117 subscribers to this blog. We want to thank all of you for caring about children and for supporting adoption through Sacred Selections. I was thinking that if each of our subscribers donated just $10, we would have over $11,000 for baby Lorelei Hope’s adoption expenses.
Go to the Donations tab in the menu above and then go to the bottom of the post about Auction Donations to find the link for monetary donations. Whatever you give will make a difference to a child and a family. Thank you for caring!
This is Ethan and his dad Laine. They love blacksmithing and Ethan Rocks! That’s the name of his business. Yes, Ethan has a business!!
Ethan was adopted and his sister is a Sacred Selections baby. Ethan understands adoption from the inside out and he wants to help other kids become adopted.
Ethan and his family are driving to Bartlett from Alabama for the Bartlett Benefit for Sacred Selections on May 30th. They’re bringing some things that he and his dad have made especially for this event.
Take a look!
Bottle Openers that are hand hammered and forged: Firefighter Pick Head Axe, Horse Head, and Anvil.
This is Lorelei Hope and we are raising the funds to complete her adoption. She and her adoptive parents will be at The 8th Annual Benefit in Bartlett, TN on May 30th. You’ll want to be there to hear their inspiring story of love!
A couple of weeks ago we posted an auction item that had come in. It is an angel figurine that is titled: Hope. And it is part of a series of figure in the Journey of Grace. How perfect is that? Come out and meet Miss Lorelei Hope and her parents and bid on the perfect item to help you remember this special night of Hope.
Head coach Dan Mullen has led Mississippi State’s football program to unprecedented sustained success and energized the Bulldog fan base in the process. Mississippi State has many loyal (not just winning season) fans among our Sacred Selections supporters and we have something very special just for them.
This regulation football with a Mississippi State cover was signed by Dan Mullen recently for this auction to support a family seeking to adopt a child. We are excited to share this piece of memorabilia with a true fan.
